Celebrating 20 Years

We are delighted to reflect on what can only be described as a wonderful, albeit exhausting, week of celebrations marking our 20th birthday during Small Charity Week. The support from our community has been truly overwhelming, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for this special milestone.

Our week-long festivities perfectly captured the spirit of our organisation – from the sublime to the ridiculous – all blessed with beautiful weather that couldn't have been more perfect. Throughout the week, there was no shortage of cake and fizzy drinks to keep everyone's spirits high and energy levels up.

The formal celebrations featured inspiring speeches from three distinguished guests: Guy Renner Thompson, Trustee and Councillor; Duncan Roberts, our architect; and Guy Farr, High Sheriff of Northumberland. Their words of support and recognition of our two decades of service to the community were both moving and motivating.

The festivities reached their peak with our Family Fun Day on Saturday, where formality gave way to pure enjoyment. Families flocked to experience the bouncy castle and test their skills on the bucking bronco, while children and adults alike participated in numerous games and activities that brought smiles to faces throughout the day.

"This week has reminded us why we do what we do," said Juliet Short, Head of Operations.  "The energy, enthusiasm, and support from our community has been incredible. Twenty years is a significant milestone, and to celebrate it surrounded by so many wonderful people makes it even more special."

As we move forward into our third decade of service, we carry with us the warmth and goodwill shown by everyone who made these celebrations so memorable. Thank you to all who helped make our 20th birthday week truly unforgettable.

Our celebrations have also highlighted what a versatile and welcoming venue we have. Whether you're planning a birthday party, looking for space for your group or class, or have any other event in mind, we're flexible and always open to new ideas. Please get in touch to discuss how our facilities might work for you.
