What we are here to do
Bell View exists to strengthen communities and enrich lives across rural North Northumberland — bringing people together, reducing isolation, and making sure that wherever you live, whatever your circumstances, you can access the support and connection you need to live well.

What We Aim to Achieve
Everything Bell View does works toward six core aims — rooted in the realities of rural life in North Northumberland.
A community where no one is alone
We work to reduce the social and geographic isolation that affects so many people across our 300 square miles — through transport, activities, outreach and simply being there.
Independence and dignity at home
We support people to remain independent, active and connected — whether that means a weekly group, a lift to an appointment, or a friendly face at the door.
Strong, connected local communities
We invest in volunteering, local partnerships and community-led activity — because the best support for rural communities comes from within them.

We provide advice, information and a trusted point of contact — helping people navigate the services and support that exist, and filling the gaps where they don't.

Bell View has been recognised nationally and regionally for the quality and impact of its work over more than twenty years.
The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service
The highest award the Crown gives to voluntary organisations.
Awarded to Bell View in recognition of outstanding voluntary work carried out in our community. The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service is equivalent to an MBE for voluntary organisations — given to groups that demonstrate exceptional contribution to their local communities.
