Christmas 2023

The halls are fully decked for Christmas! Twinkling lights adorn our cafe, and our tree glitters in hallway.  We are slowly gearing up for a joyful holiday season packed full of music, food and cheer.

After enjoying the beautiful lights and bustling stalls of the Belford Christmas Market and the fabulous grotto (visited by the one and only), we are as excited by Christmas as we are disappointed by the first December weather. 

December began with Bell View’s very own Christmas Fair featuring stalls heaped with homemade cakes, books, jigsaws and our first Christmas Lunch of the Year at Cornhill Village Hall.   A second Christmas lunch followed in quick succession on Monday, thanks to the marvellous Gill.  Yet, this is just the warm-up act for all that's still to come! Our long-awaited annual Christmas Lunch in the Bell View café is only a week away.

Day Care have two days of partying to look forward to and Our Gathering team in Wooler are ready to enjoy a special day at The Milan in Wooler.

Back in Seahouses and Belford, we are looking forward to musical merriment and getting ready for the Bell View Singers' rousing carols, Seahouses' angelic school choirs and Seahouses Village Voices and more!  We are also looking forward to completing tree decorations for the Christmas Tree Festival in Wooler.

During Christmas week, Bell View's rooms will fall silent momentarily as we close up shop on the 23rd & 24th.  However, we will be here on the25th, 27th and 28th with cups of tea, soup, mince pies, books, laughter and conversation - if you want a break - before returning to business as usual on Tuesday 2nd January 2024.  What better way to close out the holiday season?
