Soup-er Troopers on Wednesdays & Fridays

In October 2022, we launched our Soup Club (aka Warm Hub): a new community initiative that has quickly become a cosy tradition.. Every Wednesday and Friday from 12-4:15pm, we open our doors and fill up the cafe with the aroma of slowly simmered, homemade soup.   Everyone and anyone can stop by to enjoy a delicious bowl of soup, fresh bread roll, and friendly faces around the table.

Since launching the Warm Hub, we've seen retirees, young families, teens, and remote workers all gather to catch up and fuel up on cold autumn days and hot summer days.  There's no agenda or program - just warm nourishment and community connections.

The amazing Gill takes pride in preparing unique soups each week, using fresh, seasonal ingredients from our own garden wherever possible. . You might find potato leek, roasted squash, or hearty bean and greens on the menu but all our soups are gluten-free and vegetarian.

Beyond physical nourishment, the Warm Hub provides a space for community nourishment. As one regular put it, "It feels good to chat with different neighbours and feel part of something." We love seeing new friendships form each week over shared soup.

If you're seeking respite from the midweek chill, comfort food, and good company, join us at the Warm Hub Wednesdays and Fridays. All are welcome to join us!  Donations accepted but not expected.
